As a fellow founder of Ashdown Consulting, Philip Desmond brings a huge amount of experience to the business. After an extensive career in Telecommunications in the UK, Philip moved to Australia in the mid 80s.Ever present in the industry through deregulation he has achieved great success in the IT Sales/Marketing arena. His technical background also ensures the right technical and field staff recommendations. He has worked closely with many large clients in both the private and public sector but can call upon his experience in SME space. Philip looks forward to working with you.

LYNDA CHASE
Lynda Chase has over 7 years experience of IT & T recruitment experience, both within Australasia and UK, 4 of which have been based in Australia. Lynda has managed a variety of key clients over this time. With this experience, she is able to understand the needs of the organisation she works with and to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of resources for specific requirements. Lynda’s approach is very consultative, and is often recognised as an extension of her clients’ own teams, which enables her to better understand what the business really needs

MARK LAMPSON
Mark Lampson is a founder of Ashdown Consulting. On graduating from University in Economics, he commenced his career in a leading ICT recruitment company in London in 1996. He was asked to join an ICT recruitment company in Sydney in 1999. After working in the ICT recruitment arena for 6 years in Australia managing large teams as well as key clients, Mark took an opportunity to join an International Telecommunications company as the Talent Acquisition Manager to manage the Work Force Planning projects / processes to attract, develop and retain staff. Mark is looking forward to growing Ashdown Consulting and sharing in its continuing and rapid success. Mark sits on the Regional Council of the RCSA.

JASON KANG
Jason is the latest addition to the Ashdown Consulting team. Jason comes with a strong background in client and customer management. With his natural enthusiasm and determination, Jason will ensure he has a full understanding of his client’s business environment and needs and will work to ensure that there is a seamless working relationship. He will also look to pinpoint the strengths of all candidates in order to determine what the ideal role is for them.

RUTH HAWKINS
Ruth has worked extensively in the Training field as well as Recruitment and is expert in seeking tailored solutions for companies in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and industry. Ruth brings an international experience to Ashdown working both in Europe and Australia. She believes the key to a successful working relationship is to listen to the needs of the clients and candidates, assume responsibility for those requirements and ensure they are met.

ALYSIA SAXBY
Alysia, with her MBA in Technology Management, has a wealth of international commercial experience including in a Big 4 Consulting firm. Alysia currently manages Operations for Ashdown Consulting and ensures that a smooth and professional relationship with Clients, Contractors and Suppliers is continually achieved. With over 10 years of experience in Operations, Finance, and Quality Management Systems, she allows her team to make sure that the core business for Ashdown Consulting is able to progress to the benefit of all of Ashdown Consulting’s clients and candidates.
